We bought this vehicle some 4 months ago and my son has completely restored it.
It was a grey vehicle with the hard canopy but we are changing it to the soft top.
I cannot find the exact date of manufacture but a VIN website search tells me between 1979 and 1983. Its South African registered papers record the first registration here as 1988.
We were told by the previous owner that this vehicle traveled overland from the UK to South Africa.
There was a "Trust" badge on the grill when we bought it.
Its last few years was allowed to rust and prior to that it pulled leisure boats out of a dam! Hence the rust.
It would be interesting if anyone knows the vehicle.
